Hey Y'all I'm Kris.

A few key points about me -

I am a mom, homesteader and entrepreneur.

I am a very proud military wife even tho my husband lives on the other side of the country.

The longer my husband is gone, the more animals I collect.  (I might have a slight obsession)

I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason

I believe in the healing power of Mother Earth and truly think that we should do everything possible to live harmoniously with nature.

I strive to be the best person I can be but I am still human and I have flaws.

I live on a small farm in Central NY with my son and our crazy collection of animals.  My journey started with one horse, one dog, one cat, and a big dream.  My husband gave in and bought a piece of land with a little house in 2010 and I have been building it into a great little farm ever since.

Other than homesteading, I enjoy training horses (it's how I help put a roof over our heads), making quilts, and crafting beautiful home decorations with a little bit of country charm.  I recently opened an Etsy shop called Oh Sew Country Crafts, check it out!  I hope to own and run my own Equestrian Facility in the near future (I am working towards that every day as I put together our little farm) and I would love to open a Fabric/Craft shop in town (if I can convince my husband it's a good idea).
